PTO CORNERA warm welcome to new and returning families. We hope you enjoyed the summer and feel refreshed for the busy year ahead. We'd like to introduce ourselves and share our mission statement and calendar of events for the 2006 - 2007 school year.
The PTO was elected in May 2006 for two years.

The Sacred Heart Parent Teachers Organization has as its purpose to promote parent/guardian and student involvement at Sacred Heart School. The PTO sponsors many activities and events throughout the year. Through fundraising activities, the P.T.O. provides additional capital for supplementary items to further enrich the educational programs at Sacred Heart School. Each family is asked to cooperate and support these programs.Volunteering your time and talent to your child’s school is a wonderful way to get to know the faculty, students, and other families at Sacred Heart School. Every family is required to give 40 hours of service throughout the calendar year. There are many volunteer opportunities choose from.
Bingo (Monday evenings) is a significant source of income for the school. Each family is required to give two hours of service every fourth week to this project throughout the calendar year.
Chair or Co-Chair a PTO event: Bake Sale, Book Fair, Family Fun Night, Queen For A Night, etc.
Lunch parent. Once a week for 1 1⁄2 hours.
Office help, photocopying for faculty, library help, etc.
