Sacred Heart School
Advent Concert

The first and second grades of Sacred Heart School invite you, your relatives, and friends to share in the Advent Celebration on Sunday, December 10, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.  It will be held at the Church of the Presidents in Quincy Square.  Father O’Brien will lead the prayer with Rev. Sheldon Bennett.  Sacred Heart Youth Choir will also participate in this wonderful tradition that the City of Quincy continues.

The children will be dressed as “angels” in long white robes.  They will recite a Christmas poem and sing some favorite Christmas carols.  At the end of the service, weather permitting, the students will gather across the street near the crèche to sing “Silent Night”, while enjoying the beautiful Christmas lights.  After the service, the Quincy Festival Committee invites everyone to the gathering room in the church for hot chocolate and donuts!

This is a wonderful way to celebrate the Third Sunday of Advent and to prepare for the Feast of Christmas.  We look forward to seeing you.
